This is a unique shower filter that has excellent total chlorine and Chloramines removal rate without the compromised of slower shower flow rate. It uses mainly calcium sulfite as the chlorine removal media. The only proven Hot water chlorine/chloramines removal media. Other brands only use less than 10% and mix with other medias to remove chlorine which may not be as effective in Hot water. For instance, carbon filters will be destroyed at temperatures above 40-degree Celcius, vitamin C easily dissolve needs to be replaced consistently.
